This is the last plate carrier you will need for a very long time.

premier body armor core plate carrier. Level IIIA cummerbund. accommodates Level III and level IV rifle plates.

Overview

Balancing durability and high-speed performance, the Core Mission Plate Carrier delivers all the duties of a solid plate carrier; lightweight/high speed, extreme durability, modern technology, and compatibility with any type of armor. The Core Mission Plate Carrier is the foundational chassis for every mission.

Seamlessly integrated traditional molle webbing and velcro-covered laser-cut molle sections, make carrying a heavy kit just as natural as going lite. A chest placard can be easily attached to the full-field of velcro on the front of the plate carrier, and medical gear, hydration bladders, and more can be added on the rear. Both the outside and inside of the cummerbund feature traditional molle webbing so you can add gear on either side.

The Core Mission Plate Carrier is meant for those looking for a high-performance, American Made PC to be the foundation of their tactical kit. Read our PBA Blog: A Guide for Your Plate Carrier Setup to learn more!

    Sizing

The Core Plate Carrier has laced paracord located at the back of the vest to provide comfort and adjustability. When adding plates to the carrier, it will naturally have a more snug fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

    FAQ

    Is body armor legal?

Body armor is legal to own in all 50 states (but we can not ship it to the state of Connecticut or New York).

What if I'm between sizes? Or on the border for the next size up?

While the carrier itself fits true to size, inserting plates will cause the carrier to have a tighter fit. Because of this, we recommend sizing up one (1) size if you are between or on the border of two sizes. The laced paracord in the back of the vest can help provide the most comfortable fit.

Where do I insert the cummerbund armor?

If you lift the full-field of velcro on the front, you will find the cummerbund straps. Lift the cummerbund strap from the front of the vest and you will find an entrance point for the level 3a soft armor inserts.

Which internal pocket do I place my rifle-rated plate in?

While there are three internal pockets to the Core Plate Carrier, you will place the rifle rated plate in the middle pocket that has a reinforced velcro strap to ensure your armor plate does not shift. The front pocket can be used for a spall liner if you're operating with ICW plates or Steel Plates. The rear internal pocket gives the option of using a trauma pad.

    Can I wash my vest?

The outer carrier is machine washable. Simply remove the ballistic cummerbund panels and any trauma pads or plates, then we recommend washing the carrier on gentle. Lay the carrier flat to dry.

    Would recommend

I am very happy with this plate carrier. It feels well build, the material used seems really sturdy and feels like it would last for a good while. My only grip with this carrier is the quick release points on the shoulder and cumberbund. Although they would come in handy in a situation where I would have to get the plate carrier off quickly they are made of a plastic (but do feel sturdy in itself) I just don't really like them being plastic. Would be awesome if they were aluminum or some kind of light metal but I wouldn't use them if I don't have to avoiding accidentally breaking them so for me using the velcro side under the flap in the front will be my main way of taking off and putting on the plate carrier. I'm not in the military or in law enforcement but I do like to feel prepared for any situation that I would have to protect myself. I'm super happy with this purchase and can't wait to get the plates for it and start training at the range with my "battle gear"

    Great company & Products

This will be my second plate carrier. My first setup was a Condor pc and ar500 level III steel plates. Those plates weigh about 10lbs a piece, and we’re only curved perpendicular, so it was a lot of weight at the core of my kit. I purchased the Core plate carrier with 2 level III+ multi-curve Stratis plates. I am very happy with my purchase.
I am so excited with how light the plates are. The whole set up seems even to light, but once you add all the other crap it’s perfect. I am very impressed thus far with Premier Body Armor. With my initial purchase I earned enough reward points to pay for 2 spall panels (to use as trauma pads). With each purchase there has been a thank you card that is actually signed by Alex Stewart. I’m imagining this is true for each purchase. That is one of the most exceptional things I’ve seen from a company. Keep up the good work.

    Decent

I'm very happy with the carrier. The armour could have been sized one size up (I am a small framed individual). The carriers are one size fits all (which fits perfectly for me and my larger friends). Overall I am happy with my purchase, I cannot verify that it stops 44 mag, but I wouldn't doubt it. If any critique, specificy that the armor is being sized, rather than the carrier, as I thought. Great product overall.

Quality Armor - I ordered both the lvl III plate carrier and the lvl 4 stratus plate.

First off, I would like to say that I am extremely pleased with the quality of this armor. The plate carries is even better. I can honestly say that is poop hits the fan, I know I will be protected. I order this body armor to wear with the level 2 armor my agency provides us. I got for that "oh shit" moment most LEOs have. I pay that I never have to use it, but I'm sure glad I have it.

Great Plate Carrier with Extra Protection

Construction and fit of this plate carrier are great, although I would recommend looking at buying a size up from what you think you may need. Once all the plates are in, the size works out to be quite a bit smaller than what the sizing guide may lead you to conclude. I really appreciate the cummerbund armor, which allows this carrier to be more protective than an average plate carrier without being as heavy and restrictive as a full vest.
