Waited a while, but finally got this plate. It's light enough to wear all day and fits all my carriers. From more discreet carriers to full on kits, this just works. Hope I never get to test its actual stopping power, but glad to have it.
Havent got my FDE Tacticle yet but very impressed with the weight of my new Stratis LIII+ plate
I have spoke with a lot of companies in my 45 years and Premier Body Armor has one of the best. From answering the phone when called to checking back with me when I received my order to see if I was happy. Thank You Premier Body Armor employees for all of your hard work and dedication to your product and your customers.
As expected, the plate I got was many times lighter than the AR550 plates I got just a couple of days earlier (mind you, I got those steel plates in a bundle that came with a plate carrier). If the Level III+ moniker is right, this plate should perform as well as an AR550 plate. Also came coated, which I assume protects them from the elements, your sweaty body, and spalling. One thing to keep in mind is that the plate is a bit thicker than the AR550 plates I bought, and of course, this plate costs about 2x as much as steel plates. However, does fit in the carrier I bought with the trauma pad behind it, albeit, a bit tight.
For those curious, I bought a backpack plate a couple of months ago with the same rating, so I am good on my front and back. As of now, the steel plates are on reserve if these lighter ones get used or are damaged.
Light weight and easy to adjust. Seems to be quality made to last material. Looks good and professionally made.
For the price and quality of this product, I would heavily recommend it.
We are in trying times right now and I would rather have it than not to.
Thank you, R.C. Page
