FAQ
Will the Discreet Plate Carrier fit additional armor plates if they're not from Premier Body Armor?
No matter if your plates are from companies such as AR500, or Spartan Armor, the Discreet Plate Carrier can hold Level III or Level IV body armor plates at or smaller than 10"x12". The plates must be thinner than 1" for an optimal fit.
Can the Discreet Plate Carrier fit any cut of armor plates?
The Discreet plate Carrier can fit SAPI/ESAPI or Shooter's Cut or Swimmer's Cut armor plates.
What should I place in the cummerbund of my Discreet Plate Carrier and will it be concealed as well?
The durable, elastic cummerbund is designed around AR-Magazines, but can hold all types of equipment for your mission. You can place magazines, medical gear, or communication radios. The equipment is concealed under your shoulder and arm mass, but easily accessible for rapid response.
Can I wash my carrier?
The outer carrier is machine washable. Simply remove any armor, then we recommend washing the carrier on gentle. Lay the carrier flat to dry.

You get what you pay for with Premier, and this thin, hard 3a is the most concealable plate I've found (even more than their soft 3a because of the curvature). Combined with the year warranty instead of the usual 5 others offer, and the trusted brand, it's worth a few extra bucks for anyone trusting a life to it.
As far as I can tell it's just as thick as the mouth of the 5.7 casing in the pics, and 5.7mm ÷ Pi = 1.8143663512mm so the advertized 1.9mm thickness is, impressively, spot on!

I have these PE plates in a mission vest. Very comfortable. The plates fit me and are very light weight. So far, 10 hours in a car is not an issue.

Shooter's cut is great for concealment and extension, measurement is spot on (10x12), silly thin and light. Not sure why they don't lean into this .19 thick material and come out with a bunch of different sizes and shapes as well as bag inserts. The 10x12 is a bit wide for my frame (5'7 / 175 lbs) but an 8x10 would have been about perfect. Very happy with it.

It’s very light, stores flat and is easy to throw on when needed. My neighbors alarm went off, I put it on, covered it with a jacket and you couldn’t tell I had it on.
