Step into the future of head protection with the Fortis Ballistic Helmet. This high-cut helmet is a testament to advanced protective technology, maintaining a light weight of just 3 lbs. Constructed from advanced ballistic fibers, it offers solid protection, achieving backface deformation results that outperform the vast majority of commercially available ballistic helmets (read more about backface deformation).

The design not only optimizes the helmet's capacity for energy dispersion but also keeps it considerably lighter, reducing wearer fatigue and enhancing mobility when compared to standard Advanced Combat Helmets (ACH).

The Fortis Ballistic Helmet is not just about protection; it is also designed for functionality, featuring a 7075 aviation-grade aluminum NVG mount and glass-reinforced polycarbonate ARC rails. Available in sizes S/M & L/XL, it serves a broad user base, ensuring an optimal fit with its sophisticated padding and adjustment system. Its level IIIA rating offers a level of protection that is competitive with helmets three times its cost!  This value reflects the helmet's innovative approach, employing modern engineering and materials to provide essential protection, comfort, and utility without the premium cost.

Sizing

The Fortis Ballistic Helmet comes in two sizes; S/M and L/XL. Use the sizing guide and information below to find the size that will fit you best.

level iiia body armor helmet sizing guide

How to pick your helmet size:

  • Use a flexible tape measure to measure around your head. Place it over your eyebrows and ears, and see where it meets.
  • Don’t have measuring tape? Use a string or a shoelace instead, then measure it with a ruler.
  • Picked the wrong size? No worries! We make it easy to swap it.

Easy Tips for a Perfect Fit:

  • Measure your head later in the day. Heads can be slightly bigger then.
  • Think about how you'll be wearing the helmet. Will your hair make a difference, or will you wear something under the helmet? This might mean you need a bigger size.
  • Measure your head three times to be really sure of your size. Use the average of those three as your real measurement.

It fits

Get to the point when I was a kid. I had an accident and now my head is shaped a little funny. I always had an issue with helmets. This one fits well. I like the way that I can adjust all the foam to get it to fit. Just right. If you're in the market for a helmet, give this one a look. I like the way it's cut fits well. Foam is easy to adjust. Hopefully I never have to find out how effective it is, but I know it's premier body armor it's gonna do the job.

What’s a sword without a shield?

Having the all the modern gear to ride out whatever the future may hold is essential. The stock market is good for investing during easy times, however, premiere body armor and their extensive line up of products are investments for less than desirable times. I own multiple items from this company including chest plates, back plates, and plates for my edc bag. But nothing stands up to my latest investment, which is the fortis ballistic helmet. This thing is badass in every way possible. From the fit to the aesthetics, and of course, the reliability. I saw a video on YouTube of this thing taking multiple handgun rounds, 12 gauge buckshot AND a a high velocity 5.7 without penetrating the shell. From there, I knew I had to have it for the questionable times we are currently living in. My noggin is worth more than $500 bucks, let’s just hope I never have to use this helmet, but I’m very happy to know I have it if I need it.
Again, having all your modern day “swords” such as your AR’s are great, but you have to have premiere body armor’s gear as your modern day “shield” to pair. Overall, a great company, great products, and amazing staff. I trust this company and their gear with my life, literally.

Hard Headed Protection

This helmet has perfectly blended quality, weight, and price in a way the rest of the market should take note of. Looking at you price gouging companies with big gov. contracts. While strikingly similar to other big name brands on the market, Premier's helmet comes in with the same level of protection, feather light weight, but at a price that doesn't take advantage of profiting on pure branding. This helmet is incredibly well made, very comfortable with the padding and harness, and is light enough not to destroy your neck. The one down side I noticed is not so much with the helmet itself, but with the optional bag. I purchased the bag thinking I would protect my investment. While the bag is great for a stand alone helmet, the moment I attached my ear pro, nods mount, and light there is no way the helmet fits in that bag with all the baby oil confiscated from the raid on Diddy. I have been extremely happy with this purchase, a sure upgrade that refuses to sacrifice quality despite the price.
