Is body armor legal?

In most countries and states, body armor is legal for civilians to purchase and wear. However, there may be restrictions in certain areas, such as Connecticut and New York. Read ourblog post to check the laws in your state.

Is body armor waterproof?

Most body armor is not waterproof on its own, and prolonged exposure to water may damage the ballistic materials. Therefore, it depends on the manufacturer. Our ballistic package is wrapped in a waterproof shell and then wrapped in Cordura, a water-resistant material. 

Can I travel with body armor?

Yes, you can travel with body armor. In the United States, TSA allows body armor in both carry-on and checked baggage. For international flights, make sure to check the laws and regulations of your destination country, as some places may have restrictions on body armor possession.

Can you wear full body armor under clothing?

It’s definitely possible, but we don’t recommend it. Typical body armor is just too bulky and uncomfortable. If bulletproof shirts didn’t exist, this would be a pretty big issue. But they do. So please don’t go and stretch out all of your shirts.
