Viktos Low Key/Taculus ArmorSHIFT Panel

As someone who relies on my gear to keep me protected and organized during intense missions, I can confidently say that the Viktos Taculus MX Chest Rig, with its compatibility with Premier body armor, is a complete game-changer. The rugged construction and thoughtful design features make it easy to carry all my essentials and access them quickly when needed. The added protection from Premier body armor gives me an extra layer of confidence in the field, knowing that I have the highest level of ballistic protection available. Premier Body Armor has done it once again! The Armor Shift panel is truly one of the most useful and versatile pieces of kit you could ever purchase. As chest rigs are becoming increasingly more popular for EDC, having the warm and fuzzy feeling of expandable armor right where you need it is a game changer, full stop.
This is my third armor purchase from Premiere Body Armor and the quality and craftsmanship continue to impress. A big shout out to the customer service team, as they are is absolutely amazing too. Thank you Premier for putting out a great product and for the great customer service/support.

So slim and ergonomic. Definitely perfect for the range.

I like the design of the Premier Shift panel. It fits behind my Viktos chest/EDC rig. Pulling the tabs deploys it - protecting my chest. The combo does not scream tactical. It travels as my man purse. It reminds me of my sport parachute rig and my inflatable scuba vest. Just pull tabs when things go really wrong! Premier makes good emergency gear.

The Taculus Vest did not disappoint. I was looking for a range and carry vest that would hold the essentials, but still leave me light on my feet and stay out of the way of my duty belt. The vest is perfect for doing mixed rifle pistol drills at the range. Or when you want to slide your rifle out of the truck and take a walk around your property. The vest is light but tough as nails. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I like the fact that it combines with the Viktos low key chest rig. It doubles as protection and chest rig at the same time. In addition, it’s inconspicuous where you can take it out in public without drawing attention. No one would be the wiser that fanny pack is also a chest rig and armor. Very cool!

I came up on a good deal for a new Viktos multicam black chest rig. Never owned one and gave it a shot. Then I saw that Premier made a modular front plate for this set up. Thought about it for months and then pulled trig. It’s awesome. Now this little unit has even more function than before. I’m currently between plate carrier set ups so right now this is good enough for me. Very cool to see two companies working together to make a neat and functional package.

What can I say besides, everything you need and want without the bulk of a combat loadout and sapi plates, functional, comfortable, affordable! A++++

Ran this soft-armor for a full-day gunfighter course and didn't even notice it was there. Impressive fit/functionality. Very easy to pull-down to cover stomach area and simple up-pull for stowing away. I cannot recommend this armor in combination with the Taculus chest rig enough - make the purchase - you won't regret it. Now get out there and train.

I think the partnership between Viktos and PBA is awesome, hopefully they collaborate on more products in the future. The armor shift is a perfect complement to the Taculus chest rig, I could not be happier with both products. I shot a 6 hour class last weekend and wore the armor panel all day and didn’t even notice it was there. Of course it was designed to be light, but the comfort and functionality of the shift panel was a pleasant surprise.

This rig is really well made very comfortable. The magnetic buckles make on and off easy. The AR mag pouches are secure and mags come free easily. The pistol mag insert is pretty tight and the lip of one mag will sit under the lip of the other. This should not be a major problem tho, probably wont be speed reloading, but you will definitely have your mags when you get where you are going. All my IFAK items fit easily in the lower pouch with some extra room. Thinking of mounting a small hydration pouch on the rear harness as there is built in molle. 20+ years Federal LEO, very happy with this product. Would like to see this with a 3+ or level IV plate.

Great armor. Light weight. Fits the Viktos carrier perfectly.

Clever solution. Low profile. Easy storage. With a little origami you could add folding side panels that clip in to the harness. Just saying.

This is well thought out and worthy addition to my kit. It’s one more important piece of equipment that is now convenient enough to remove any excuses.
