FAQ

Is body armor legal?

Body armor is legal to own in all 50 states (but we can not ship it to the state of Connecticut or New York).

What if I'm between sizes? Or on the border for the next size up?

This carrier is one size fits most. 

Does the Fortis Alpha Carrier have side protection?

The carrier alone does not provide any ballistic protection.

Where do I put the rifle-rated plates?

There is a pocket at the bottom of the front and back of the vest to insert your plates.

Can I wash my vest?

The outer carrier is machine washable. Simply remove any plates, then we recommend washing the carrier on gentle. Lay the carrier flat to dry.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Fortis lll+GT and I wished I would have purchased it sooner. This plate setup is actually better than what I expected. Now my wife wants the same setup.

Superior protection at a fraction of the weight.

When it comes to armor, if you want something light so you can be quick and/or carry more ammo, med supplies, etc., and still want the best protection… get these. Sure they’re not level 4… but they cover the most likely rounds to be used in an urban environment. Quit thinking Level 4 is the best and get these, you’ll be thoroughly impressed. Hell even my 10 year old loves them! Would be great for their backpack too.

The plates fit amazing in my G Code Carrier and the overall weight and feel is on point. There is no comparing these to Standard Issued plates as these far exceed all of my expectations as well as the fit and feel of what I need now as a Civilian. 10/10 Recommend!
