Featuring a multi-curve, multi-hit design, this Level IV/RF3 rifle-rated plate is constructed from UHWMPE with an Aluminum-Oxide (Al2O3) strike face for maximum effectiveness against today’s most extreme ballistic threats, offering true edge-to-edge protection in a shooter's cut.

I received my 2 plates and installed them into the carrier. They fit perfectly. I contribute that to the information page for selecting the correct size. I will probably trade one of them to my son(switch a IV for a III, back plates)(IV n front III in back of carrier). But, I am very satisfied with the product. I do not want to do a actually test to find out if it works! I am sure that you understand.

My kit had III+ oldschool plates. Heavy AF. My premaier plates are IVs and half the weight. Besides protection, less weight meets the goal of comfort and being able to carry more ammo, coms and utility items. Good work premier.

For an accurate real world demonstration of the quality of these plates, goto "KENTUCKY BALLISTICS" where he shoots them with rifles from .223 all the way up to .338 Lapua Mag and not one bullet ever made it through.

This place is nicely curved and fits me well. Im a bigger guy but it covers my vitals as its made to do and it forms well to my chest. Fairly light weight and well worth the price!
