    Is body armor legal?

    Body armor is legal to own in all 50 states (but we can not ship it to the state of Connecticut or New York).

    What if I'm between sizes? Or on the border for the next size up?

    This carrier is one size fits most. 

    Does the Fortis Alpha Carrier have side protection?

    The carrier alone does not provide any ballistic protection.

    Where do I put the rifle-rated plates?

    There is a pocket at the bottom of the front and back of the vest to insert your plates.

    Can I wash my vest?

    The outer carrier is machine washable. Simply remove any plates, then we recommend washing the carrier on gentle. Lay the carrier flat to dry.

    First time buyer...won't be the last!

    I was a little hesitant to purchase my first set of plates and carrier, as I expected them to be quite expensive. I was very happy to find that Premier Body Armor provided excellent protection at a very affordable price. I've done a lot of research on plates and carriers, and Premier consistently receives high marks for their quality and affordability. I was so happy with my carrier, that I immediately purchased the shirt and backpack. I eventually plan to purchase carriers and plates for my entire family.

    Received my Fortis III+ RF1/multi curve plates, very fast shipping, very light plates... probably the lightest III+ stand alone plates on the market as far as I have seen. One had a small blem on the side but overall nice plates, good quality. Very tight fit in my Chase Tactical carrier... slid right in the Condor Cyclone. Measured dead on 10x12. All in all very pleased with the purchase.
