What is the difference between a sling bag and a backpack?
Traditionally, a sling bag will have one strap, designed to be worn across your chest so you can "sling" it over your shoulder and quickly swing it to the front for quick access to your gear. A backpack has two (2) straps, worn over each shoulder. Sling bags are also typically smaller, though still highly versatile with enough space to fit necessary gear.
How does a sling bag work?
A sling bag, like the Vertx Transit Sling, is designed with pockets for organization. Combined with Vertx Tactigami, customization with modular gear makes it a great utility bag for essentials.
How to carry the Vertx Transit Sling bag?
To carry the Vertx Transit bag, simply load it out with your gear, adjust the shoulder strap and rapid access handle, and sling it over your head with the strap across your chest and the bag on your back. When you need to access your gear, use the rapid access pull tab to swing the bag to your front and quickly grab what you need.
