Awesome Product
I think the partnership between Viktos and PBA is awesome, hopefully they collaborate on more products in the future. The armor shift is a perfect complement to the Taculus chest rig, I could not be happier with both products. I shot a 6 hour class last weekend and wore the armor panel all day and didn’t even notice it was there. Of course it was designed to be light, but the comfort and functionality of the shift panel was a pleasant surprise.

Armored Taculus chest rig
This rig is really well made very comfortable. The magnetic buckles make on and off easy. The AR mag pouches are secure and mags come free easily. The pistol mag insert is pretty tight and the lip of one mag will sit under the lip of the other. This should not be a major problem tho, probably wont be speed reloading, but you will definitely have your mags when you get where you are going. All my IFAK items fit easily in the lower pouch with some extra room. Thinking of mounting a small hydration pouch on the rear harness as there is built in molle. 20+ years Federal LEO, very happy with this product. Would like to see this with a 3+ or level IV plate.
