While many ballistic helmets stop handgun rounds, few are proven under the same fragmentation tests used for military helmets. Independently tested to MIL-STD-662F, this helmet achieved a V50 of 2218 ft/s (676 m/s) with 17-grain fragmentation simulator projectiles (FSP), exceeding the U.S. Army’s 650 m/s threshold. I purchased one each for me and my girlfriend, as I’ve purchased body armor for us both, previously from Premier. We are HUGE fans of Premier.
The ballistic helmets are very well made. The included padding is not only anti microbial, but very comfortable to boot.
There are 2 adjustment points on each side, a comfortable chin strap and a fine adjustment point in the rear.
Absolutely no fraying and the attention to detail is second to none.
I appreciate Premiers’ quality products and continue to recommend their products. I WILL be back for another purchase at some point, since I’m we both are now covered with regard to vitals and head.

Great product. Quality build. Ranks up there with all the top tier brands on the market. You won’t be disappointed. Also… I was planning on swapping out the shroud thinking it would be cheap… it’s rock solid with zero wobble between a G24. I’ve used more expensive mounts with more play than the one that came stock with this. Very pleased.
The price alone was enough to get me interested, but after watching YouTube and reading up on reviews I decided to pull the trigger. Shipping was quick and free! The helmet is amazing lightweight and comfortable and feels like quality and durable. I haven’t had a chance to wear it for long training sessions yet, but wearing it for a few hours around the house was comfortable and I didn’t get any hot spots like I used to with the old ACH I had in the Army. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a ballistic helmet, but doesn’t have a team Wendy or Opscore budget.
The level of comfort with the upgraded pads and the fit alone is worth it and at the current price can’t beat it.

The helmet is incredible, the chin straps are comfortable, the first terior padding that could comes with it is perfect, and the entire helmet is sturdy! I will be purchasing one for my wife as well. The whole process of ordering it and receiving it was too easy!
Love the helmet, added an earmor M32X for hearing protection and a onetigris fast helmet cloth. With the addon padding this was a perfect setup. My pvs 14 mounts securely and gives me peace of mind knowing my head is protected. Thank you, Premier Body Armor for the affordable addition to my personal protective ensemble. I went with the Spartan Leonidas carrier for my medium esapi plates and side plates.

Finally a Body Armor store that has excellent customer service! I had three different ballistic helmets from other brands I was considering. One of them would have cost $1500. When I called Primier and inquired about their Fortis helmet I was instantly sold. It was light weight level lllA helmet with a high cut. Price point was awesome too! I will be ordering again soon.
I spent a solid eight hours in this thing. The pads keep enough air under the shell to keep your head reasonably cool, strap system held the helmet to my head nice and firm while running around and even with a PVS-14. The shell is light, and didn't run into any issues of feeling like I needed more cushion until the last hour of the night shoot (11pm, arrived at 3:30).
Pads come off easy for adjusting, arc rails are good and tight, and the texture of the shell holds new paint very well.

Get to the point when I was a kid. I had an accident and now my head is shaped a little funny. I always had an issue with helmets. This one fits well. I like the way that I can adjust all the foam to get it to fit. Just right. If you're in the market for a helmet, give this one a look. I like the way it's cut fits well. Foam is easy to adjust. Hopefully I never have to find out how effective it is, but I know it's premier body armor it's gonna do the job.
This is a fantastic helmet at a reasonable price. There are plenty of great features for add-ons, it is easy to adjust, and the fit chart on the item page is accurate.
Fortis ballistic helmet was easy to order,shipped quickly,and looks to be an excellent condition. Helmet looks to be of very high-quality. My only gripe is I wish the straps were just a little bit longer and the padding was a little more substantial. But I fix this with another set of helmet pads that work great. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is much better than my previous helmet. I was foolish enough to buy a cheap helmet of the Internet, only to later find out these Chinese helmets won’t even stop a 22 Long rifle. I’m so pleased that I have a real helmet now. I’m gonna shoot the other one to see if it will stop at 22. At best the other one is now just a heavy bump helmet.
Chin straps are very comfortable and were easy to adjust, I upgraded to the D30 pads so never really used the ones that came with it. The NVG mount on the front is good and fit my mount very tight. Great price

This is a great fitting helmet that is very adjustable and meets my needs. Even better is the customer service from premier. I originally ordered a 2X as I do have a large but odd shaped head. I shortly realized that it was just a bit too big. I connected premier and it was easy to ship the old helmet back in exchange for a XL. This one fits just right. I even asked to hold shipping the replacement for a few days as I was traveling, and they were more than willing to do so.
Fits my rather large head and adjust well. Fairly comfortable and light weight for the protection.
I bought this for my little brother who is on the front in Ukraine and he loves it! He used to borrow my TW and this is on par with a great price point!
