How to pick your helmet size:
- Use a flexible tape measure to measure around your head. Place it over your eyebrows and ears, and see where it meets.
- Don’t have measuring tape? Use a string or a shoelace instead, then measure it with a ruler.
- Picked the wrong size? No worries! We make it easy to swap it.
Easy Tips for a Perfect Fit:
- Measure your head later in the day. Heads can be slightly bigger then.
- Think about how you'll be wearing the helmet. Will your hair make a difference, or will you wear something under the helmet? This might mean you need a bigger size.
- Measure your head three times to be really sure of your size. Use the average of those three as your real measurement.

Finally a Body Armor store that has excellent customer service! I had three different ballistic helmets from other brands I was considering. One of them would have cost $1500. When I called Primier and inquired about their Fortis helmet I was instantly sold. It was light weight level lllA helmet with a high cut. Price point was awesome too! I will be ordering again soon.

I spent a solid eight hours in this thing. The pads keep enough air under the shell to keep your head reasonably cool, strap system held the helmet to my head nice and firm while running around and even with a PVS-14. The shell is light, and didn't run into any issues of feeling like I needed more cushion until the last hour of the night shoot (11pm, arrived at 3:30).
Pads come off easy for adjusting, arc rails are good and tight, and the texture of the shell holds new paint very well.

Get to the point when I was a kid. I had an accident and now my head is shaped a little funny. I always had an issue with helmets. This one fits well. I like the way that I can adjust all the foam to get it to fit. Just right. If you're in the market for a helmet, give this one a look. I like the way it's cut fits well. Foam is easy to adjust. Hopefully I never have to find out how effective it is, but I know it's premier body armor it's gonna do the job.

Helmet looks great and appears to be of quality construction! I got the small/medium and it fits great. The only thing I would change is that I would lengthen the chin strap. This would allow you to better center the chin strap on your chin. Other than that great helmet. This helmet on the lighter side, by a little bit, for a ballistic helmet. That’s good thing if you plan on wearing for long periods of time. The price point is the best part! This is what you would pay for some high end bump helmets, except you get ballistic protection. I think Premier has a winner on their hands!
