The Upscale3 Slingbag, sized between a chest fanny pack and typical tactical slingbags, is tailored for minimalist concealed carry and EDC. It fits a full-size pistol with an included universal hook and loop holster, though you can use your preferred holster. Designed for ambidextrous use, its padded sling offers easy pistol access from either side. The main section has elastic webbing and a pocket for extras like magazines and medkits, while a padded compartment at the top is ideal for eyeglasses. To enhance its protective capabilities we combined the Upscale3 with a custom-fit ballistic insert for unparalleled safety and security.

Hook And Loop Insert

Designed to fit seamlessly into the Viktos Upscale2 and Upscale3 Sling Bags without losing the hook-and-loop feature for a modular holster. The design mimics the interior of the bag with a full field of velcro on the front, so adding the bulletproof panel won't cause you to lose any functionality. We use the same ballistic material in these panels as the material used in the standard insert and in our soft body armor vests for law enforcement.

        The NIJ 0101.07 Standard calls for the following test rounds:

        Body armor is legal to own in all 50 states; there are no special permits or licenses needed. However, we cannot ship to Connecticut or New York due to state laws and restrictions.
