Is the 32L too big for everyday carry?
The 32L size is ideal if you routinely carry extra layers, work gear, range kit, or travel items. For a more compact footprint, consider a 22L or 26L pack, while the 32L is best when you know you need maximum capacity.
Is the armor included in this bundle?
Yes. The Armored Vertx Gamut 32L Pack Bundle includes the Gamut 32L Pack and the custom fit Level IIIA insert sized for this bag.
How large is the CCW compartment?
The dedicated CCW compartment measures 19" × 11.5" (≈ 20" diagonal) and includes a large BAP strap for secure holster or accessory mounting. Compare your setup to these dimensions for best fit.
Is the armor rifle rated?
No. The included insert is Level IIIA / HG2 and is built for common handgun threats. For rifle threats, use rifle rated hard plates and an appropriate plate carrier or vest.
Can I travel with the pack and armor?
Yes. The pack is built with dual luggage handle pass throughs for airports and hotels, and the soft armor insert is TSA Approved. Always confirm current TSA guidance and local laws before you travel.
