How does the 26L compare to the 22L and 32L packs?

The 26L adds capacity and organization for bigger kits and longer days. Choose a 22L Pack Bundle for a smaller footprint, or move up to a 32L Pack Bundle when maximum loadout space is the priority.

Is the armor included?

Yes. This bundle includes the Vertx Gamut 26L Pack and the custom-fit Level IIIA insert sized for this pack.

Will it fit my CCW setup?

The dedicated CCW compartment measures 18" × 11" (≈ 19" diagonal) and includes a large BAP strap. Compare your holster or attachment footprint to these dimensions.

Is the armor rifle-rated?

No. The included insert is Level IIIA / HG2, designed for common handgun threats. For rifle threats, use rifle-rated hard plates.

Is it good for travel?

Yes. The dual back-panel pass-throughs fit luggage handles, and the soft armor insert is TSA-Approved.

Use a damp cloth or mild soap to spot-clean the Cordura® exterior. Avoid submerging the entire panel in water or using harsh chemicals, as this could compromise the ballistic materials.

If your panel comes in contact with excessive moisture or other substances, allow it to air-dry completely before re-inserting into your bag.

No, our backpack inserts are made with non-metal materials and are TSA approved, so you shouldn't have any issues during standard airport screenings. Always check with official TSA guidance and your airline’s policies for the latest information on traveling with body armor.
