Plate Carrier Shoulder Pads Built to Carry the Load, Not Add To It.
The Fortis Shoulder Pads take the pressure off long days under armor with a 3" x 9" padded area that oversizes the typical 2" plate carrier strap for full coverage and no pressure points.
Installation takes seconds. Each pad wraps around the shoulder strap and closes with hook-and-loop, so you can add them, move them between carriers, or pull them for a wash without stripping your setup down.
Every layer is mil-spec. The outer shell is 500D CORDURA® brand nylon in a Type III, Class 3 construction: water-repellent, abrasion-resistant to the highest available standard, and NIR-compliant, with reduced near-infrared reflectance so the pads behave like the rest of your kit under night vision. Inside, 3/8" closed-cell foam delivers lasting comfort and holds its shape over years of use, while a 3mm spacer mesh backing keeps air moving to cut heat and moisture buildup.
Precision is laser-cut in. Every panel is cut by laser for exact, repeatable dimensions, and an integrated laser-cut channel routes comms and hydration lines cleanly so nothing snags or shifts. Purpose-built for the Fortis Alpha and Fortis Bravo carriers, and compatible with most plate carriers running standard shoulder straps.
