Your carrier, pack, and uniform absorb everything a hard day puts into them, then sit in a bag or a locker until the next one. Most of that gear can't go through a wash cycle as often as it needs to, and some of it shouldn't go through one at all. Molecule REFRESH is a 16 oz pump sprayer built to deodorize technical fabrics between washes, so your gear is ready to wear without the smell that comes with it.
Quick Features
- Deodorizes plate carriers, vests, packs, uniforms, and gloves
- 16 oz pump sprayer: sized for large surfaces and full kits
- Formulated for technical and performance fabrics
- Won't coat fibers or trap moisture against your skin
- Light, clean scent that fades as it dries
- Skin-friendly, cosmetic-grade formula
For the Gear You Can't Put Through a Wash Cycle
Odor in technical fabric isn't a surface problem; it settles into the weave, and the same moisture-wicking construction that keeps you cool is what holds it there. Household fabric sprays are built for upholstery and cotton. They can leave residue on synthetics, dull the fabric's ability to move moisture, and do nothing about the source.
REFRESH is formulated for the materials your kit is actually made of: nylon, polyester, laminates, mesh, and the moisture-wicking layers underneath. It treats odor without coating the fibers, so your gear keeps breathing the way it was built to.
Where to Use It, and Where Not To
Use it on: plate carriers and concealment carriers, outer vest shells, duty uniforms and base layers, range bags, packs and backpacks, gloves, belts, and equipment pouches.
Do not spray ballistic panels. Soft armor panels and hard plates should never be saturated with any liquid product. Remove the panels from the carrier first, treat the carrier, and care for the panels separately by wiping them with a damp cloth and letting them air dry fully. Always follow the care instructions that came with your armor; improper cleaning can affect both performance and warranty coverage.
How to Use It
- Remove any armor panels or hard plates from the carrier before treating it.
- Spray evenly across the fabric, holding the sprayer several inches from the surface.
- Pay extra attention to shoulder straps, cummerbund panels, and anywhere the gear sits against your body.
- Let the item air dry completely before reassembling, wearing, or storing.
- Treat gear after hard use rather than waiting for odor to build up; it's far easier to stay ahead of than to undo.
About the Formula
Per Molecule, REFRESH uses their proprietary Pico12 suppression technology to attack odor at its source, and the manufacturer states the cosmetic-grade formula contains benzalkonium chloride (BKC), an FDA-compliant antimicrobial ingredient, while maintaining fabric breathability. Molecule develops its care line specifically for performance apparel and equipment rather than general household use.
Complete the System
Molecule Helmet REFRESH handles the interior padding and liner of a ballistic or bump helmet in a compact 4 oz spray, and Molecule Detergent cleans technical fabrics without the softeners and residues that ruin moisture-wicking performance. Together they cover the full cycle: wash what can be washed, refresh what can't.
