Armor in my new Fade Sling

Purchased a new Fade Sling and saw it took body armor. Ordered the armor for the Sling and it fit like a glove! Armor is lighter than expected but does add a little to the Sling. It’s nice to be able to add some concealment armor to my concealment bag! If I purchase another bag from Eberlestock, I will be adding the Armor to go with it!

I received my panel. I looked it over and it is of excellent quality. The finish is excellent. The weight is awesome and it fits like a glove in my Eberlestock Fade sling.

The BEST bag armor

Bought the pre-sale for the Eberlestock Fade Sling and the PBA IIIA armor for it. The armor fits perfect into the back panel of the sling. Dimensions aren't listed, but it's roughly 8.75" x 13". Great size for a sling bag. Still gives enough room in the CCW pocket for holster and mags. Also, theres still about 1-2" of space in the CCW pocket, so if its shot, the backface deformation shouldnt impact me. IF I needed to use the armor, I feel like it's a sufficient size to protect vitals. With the sling on the front of me, it covers pretty much all my vitals (I'm 5'6" and 130#. Just ordered the armor for the Eberlestock Fade Adapt and excited to get that in. Still debating on the bag rifle rated armor, but waiting for the more rectangle one to come back into stock.

I own a Vertx ReadyPack with the PBA armor and been running it as my work bag and feel safe at work with it.

PBA makes excellent products. Don't hesitate with them. A lot of reviews on YouTube with it being shot and holding up.

Turns a Great EDC Pack Into Something More...

I paired the Premier Body Armor Level IIIA insert with my Eberlestock Fade Sling, and the combination has quickly become one of my favorite EDC setups. The insert fits extremely well and adds meaningful protection without turning a lightweight, practical sling into something bulky or uncomfortable to carry.

That balance is what impressed me most. Protective equipment does very little good if it is so heavy or inconvenient that you eventually stop carrying it. With this setup, I don't feel like I'm carrying armor. I simply have the Fade Sling I already wanted to use, with an additional layer of protection built into it.

The insert feels well made, fits the pack as it should, and doesn't interfere with the organization or everyday usefulness of the bag. I've carried the two together and found the overall package comfortable, discreet, and extremely practical.
For me, this is exactly where personal protection equipment should be heading: lightweight, unobtrusive, and easy to integrate into things people actually carry every day. You hope you never need the protection it provides, but having it with you without significantly changing your normal routine is the entire point.

Premier Body Armor and Eberlestock make an excellent combination. If you already own a Fade Sling, this insert is one of the most worthwhile additions you can make to it. If you're building an EDC setup from scratch, I'd seriously consider the two together. Excellent fit, excellent protection, and most importantly, practical enough to actually carry.

i own a few of these for different backpack's. this one is my most used as i use this sling everyday and if i need to advance towards any threat il atleast have some sort of armor facing the threat by slinging it in front of me.

First Armor

I was looking for a new EDC bag and saw that the Eberlestock Fade bag I was looking at would accept a plate. This got me thinking that it would be a good idea and a nice peace of mind to have. So, I chose the Premier Plate for my bag. Shipping was excellent and very fast! Helps that I live in the same area. I was very happy with the packaging and information provided. Plate fit perfectly into my pack and hopefully I will never have to test the plate… But I enjoy having the knowledge that I have some armor protection with me.
