        Can the Viktos Counteract bag insert stop rifle rounds?

        This lightweight ballistic insert is designed for Level IIIA / HG2 protection against common handgun threats, not rifle rounds. 

        Is the Viktos Counteract 27 ballistic insert compatible with most backpacks?

        The Viktos Counteract 27 insert is 11" wide and 18" tall and will fit in many large bookbags. To ensure the panel will fit, measure the largest internal compartment of your bag.

        What is the lifespan of the Viktos Counteract 27 Level IIIA Insert?

        This bulletproof panel is both flexible, water resistant (due to the ripstop covering), and durable (due to the Cordura outer wrap), making it a long-lasting concealable insert. While the warranty covers the product for 5 years, carrying it in a backpack will prolong the lifespan a great deal.

        The NIJ 0101.07 Standard calls for the following test rounds:

        In addition to stopping penetration, the armor must limit backface deformation to 44mm to reduce blunt force trauma.
